As I am starting my second trimester I am feeling a small wave of energy a huge wave of creativity.  I came across these fabrics and I love them.  Now if I can just find someone who has them both in stock.

Here are a few more room ideas we came across.  Mark says since he will be the one doing the painting he gets final verdict on the design.  I am anxious to see what he comes up with.  Remember these are just for ideas not for color.

Let the painting begin!

This weekend Mark and I are going to finalize the paint scheme for the nursery so I have been searching to the internet for painting ideas.  I am a huge fan of stripes (not necessarily in these colors) but maybe one of these layouts or something similar will be how we polish off Baby Eaton's room.

I am so going to do this.....

This will probably be the only homemade item in the nursery and it is only because I cannot find anything I like but I am so thankful to the girl in the video for this easy and adjustable idea.

Owl Art

I came across these Owl prints on ETSY.com by Lee Arthaus and I love the idea of putting together a collection of them in our gender neutral nursery.  Here are a few of my favorites....

Turquoise & Red

I love these chairs and think this pattern with the turquoise and red would be perfect as a glider in a nursery.

Not crazy about the wall art or really much in this room but just wanted to throw it in here so you could see the turquoise and red together.

Fun rug but do you think it will make my baby dizzy?

The more I look for pictures that include the colors the more girly it looks but I do like the white accents with the red and white.

I love this white elephant.  I might need to get one for the babies room.

I am excited to say..... WE ARE EXPECTING!!!! Now that I can only focus on all things baby I am high jacking this blog and turning it into my sounding board for nursery room decor. Some ideas might be good; most might be a little off for your tastes but I we are waiting to find out the sex of the baby until the big arrival so it needs to be gender neutral. Problem with gender neutral is I don't like most of what I see out there so now it is time to get creative. Enjoy and please leave me your comments!
